3-5-1-1 in FC Mobile
Three centre-backs, two holding midfielders, two up front. Width comes from the wide midfielders. This is the standard 3-5-1-1 entry in Manager Mode. The game tags it Defensive, Second Striker.

What 3-5-1-1 is good at
- Three centre-backs cover the box and the gaps between them, so crosses and long balls rarely find a free runner.
- Two holding midfielders shield the centre-backs and win the ball back before it reaches the back line.
- Wide midfielders work both ways on the flank, supplying crosses and tracking back.
- Two strikers occupy both centre-backs: one can hold the ball while the other runs in behind.
- A second striker (CF) plays off the main striker and links the play.
Where it is weak
- Only three at the back leaves the flanks to the wide midfielders or wing-backs; if they are caught up the pitch, the outside centre-backs get dragged wide.
- Wide midfielders are not natural finishers, so the goals have to come from the striker(s) and the runners from midfield.

Overall it needs two midfielders who can tackle, quick centre-backs who cover wide, strikers who finish and hold the ball.
